Attainable Housing

Housing must be accessible for all income levels. As a regional issue, I work to utilize all the tools at our disposal to face national and metro trends for Arvadans

• ​Work to build a 55+ or 65+ community so people can right size when they’re ready and free up housing supply for families

• Leverage financial tools as much supporting affordable housing supply; supporting density while not overbuilding Arvada

• Supporting buyers through local bank partnerships

• Elevating programs for older adults to stay in their home

• Networking robust resources for anyone in our area in danger of losing their home

• Best use of funds from the Housing Advisory Committee and Housing Department to support

• Workforce housing development in partnership with the school board, fire district, CDOT, and other agencies
