It’s been a busy week in Arvada with warmer temps and many folks back from spring break. I very much appreciate the response to our email from last week! I am here to ensure Arvada works for you and all our families, and am glad this newsletter is playing its part in that goal.

First Friday Creative Crawl in Olde Town! 🎨
Coinciding with Art Drop Arvada, Olde Town is hosting a First Friday creative crawl to embrace all of Olde Town’s creative endeavors from art to live music to craft beverages and more all day every first Friday! Starts at 10am tomorrow, April 4th, with the Art Drop starting at 6pm.

🏛 What’s Up at Council
April 8th – Courts Workshop ⚖️
The municipal court team will be presenting to the council an annual update on the status of the Arvada Municipal Court. This will include the court docket, the probation department and the One Small Step docket.
Our council meeting on April 1 had many members of the community give their thoughts on homelessness in Olde Town as well as various land use business items. All business meetings and sessions are available via video to check out here:

City Manager Meet and Greet 🤝
Residents are invited to attend an open house to meet the top candidates and provide feedback to Council. The open house will be held on Thursday, April 10, from 4 to 6 p.m. at City Hall (8101 Ralston Rd.) Stay up to date on the City Manager selection process!
